Why You Should Have Buffer Days Between Destinations

Multi-destination trips often pack arrival-explore-explore-depart pattern at each stop. Adding buffer days between destinations (one full rest day on arrival, light evening before departure) produces noticeably better experience.

Why this matters

Travel is tiring (jet lag, sleep disruption, decision fatigue). Body and mind need recovery for genuine engagement with next destination. Activities done while exhausted aren't enjoyed properly.

Plan trips with at least one rest day per destination. Most travellers who try this find they enjoy more of the trip even though they 'do less'.
